There are seasons where nothing is technically “wrong,”
but you know deep down that something is off.
That’s the place I’ve found myself in.
And honestly, that’s why this post exists.
That’s why this new website exists.
That’s why Back to Alignment matters to me so much.
What Alignment Means to Me
For me, alignment isn’t about doing more.
It’s not about perfect branding, better aesthetics, or chasing the next strategy.
Alignment is about coming back to the why.
I believe God gave me this business.
Not just as a way to make a living but as a way to heal, to serve, and to walk alongside women.
Yes, this business helped me get out of a toxic marriage and a really hard season of my life.
But even before that, I’ve always had a heart for women.
Helping women.
Listening to women.
Holding space for women as they navigate trauma, growth, grief, healing, and joy
That calling is actually why I’m going back to school to pursue my master’s in mental health. I want to work with women in trauma therapy. I care deeply about breaking generational patterns, walking through codependency, healing from toxic relationships, and learning how to find joy again in family, in connection, in self, and in growth.
My faith is part of that foundation.
Jesus fills the void, I believe that.
But I also never want to shove that down anyone’s throat. I just want you to know where my values come from, because they matter in the work I do.
“Alignment isn’t about doing more. It’s about coming back to what you were created to do.”
Where I Got Off Track
When I first started this business, I wasn’t afraid to show up as myself.
I got in front of the camera.
I talked openly about life.
I focused on women, their stories, their seasons, their growth.
But about two years ago, something shifted.
I started taking branding courses.
I shot New York Fashion Week twice.
I learned how to create aesthetically pleasing, high-level branding work, and I’m genuinely skilled at it.
But somewhere along the way, I started trying to turn this business into a “boss babe” version of itself.
It looked good.
And it wasn’t wrong, but it wasn’t fully aligned.
Because I didn’t start this business just to create pretty images.
I started it to serve women.
To talk about the ups and downs.
The grief.
The growth.
The hard seasons and the beautiful ones.
To capture women as they actually are, not as who they think they should be. Because, let’s be honest, the world’s expectations are relentless.
Coming Back to What Matters
I was reminded recently of how this all started.
In the early days of Assured Image, I used to host women’s days. We’d get together, do experiences, go out to eat, talk, laugh, and connect. There was so much depth and honesty and support.
And I realized… I’ve drifted from that.
Not because I don’t care, but because growth sometimes pulls us away before it brings us back.
This season is me coming back.
Back to authenticity.
Back to connection.
Back to walking beside women instead of trying to impress them.
I can still do branding.
I can still do empowerment.
I can still do family, seniors, and all the different seasons of a woman’s life.
But I want to do it aligned… with who I am and who I feel called to be.
Why This Matters for You
Here’s what I know to be true:
When we’re out of alignment, we feel it.
You might not be able to explain it.
You might not know exactly what’s missing.
But something feels disconnected.
You can surround yourself with advice, strategies, and noise, but your life, your story, and your business (if you have one) are unique to you.
And the world right now?
It’s craving authenticity.
It’s craving vulnerability.
It’s craving real.
I don’t want to be anything other than me.
And I don’t want you to be anything other than you.

What Back to Alignment Is
Back to Alignment is an invitation.
An invitation to slow down.
To be seen.
To honor the season you’re actually in, not the one you feel pressured to perform.
Through photography and video, I want to help document stories in a way women don’t expect. Stories that reflect growth, healing, strength, softness, and truth.
This season and the special sessions connected to it are about coming alongside women again.
Not to fix them.
Not to mold them.
But to see them.
That’s what alignment feels like to me.
And if any part of this resonates, you don’t need to have the words figured out yet.
You can simply reach out and say,
“I think I’m ready to come back into alignment.”
and my heart will simply burst with excitement and gratitude that you trust me.
